Judging
Each contestant will be judged on their knowledge of the American Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, Self-Governance, Poise, Diplomacy, Beauty, Talent, Intelligence, Physical Fitness, and Marksmanship. The panel of judges will consist of members from the THE MISS LIBERTY USA Organization Board of Directors, Celebrities, Military Officers, and selected American Patriots.
Knowledge of the Constitution, Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence: Each contestant will be asked 3 specific questions that will demonstrate the contestants knowledge of these fundamental American documents.
Personal Interview: In the Personal Interview portion of the competition each contestant converses with the judges on political and social issues. The contestant is awarded points for being well spoken, polite, articulate, confident, knowledgeable, intelligent, and diplomatic.
Evening Wear: In the Evening Wear portion of the competition, the contestants are judged on poise and bearing as they walk across the stage.
Onstage Questions: During the Evening Wear competition the contestants are asked a random question from a pre-determined list that they must then answer onstage with no preparation. Questions are topical and will involve current world events and American History. The questions require the contestant to have knowledge of the event and provide an opinion.
Marksmanship: In the preliminaries each of the 50 contestants chosen will show their expertise in the use of firearms (pistol and rifle). The contestants will be judged on Accuracy, use and safety of firearms as well as additional expertise the contestant may possess in the use of firearms.
Talent: In the Talent portion of the competition the contestant performs on stage before the judges and a live audience.
Fitness & Swimsuit: In the Swimsuit portion of the competition contestants walk on stage in swimsuits and high-heeled shoes. The Miss Liberty USA Pageant regulates certain minimum standards of modesty and will require a full piece bathing suit. Judging for this portion of the competition focuses on overall physical fitness, confidence, poise and posture.
Beauty: Each contestant will be judged on their natural beauty which will consist of body proportion, and overall facial and physical beauty.
